Evaluating the Impact of Timsen (N-Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride) on a Spectrum of Water Quality Parameters

Abstract

The experiment sought to evaluate the effect of Timsen on numerous water quality metrics on the rooftop of the fisheries faculty building from 10 March to 25 March 2023. The trial had four treatments (T1, T2, T3, and T4), each with three replications, with doses of 0, 1, 2, and 3 g of Timsen per ton of water, respectively. Twelve buckets, each with a capacity of 110 litres, were utilised for this experiment, and each bucket was filled with 100 litres of water.
