Abstract



Salinity is the most important abiotic constraint affecting rice production in coastal zones globally, due to the low inherent salt tolerance of rice. Silicon (Si) has been reported as an effective element in improving salinity tolerance, but nothing is known about its tolerance with the conventional coastal rice genotypes.
